Intel CV Academy – Free Webinars on Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Optimization
From February to April 2021, Intel in Russia is holding the second season of CV Academy – a series of open webinars on computer vision, deep learning and algorithm performance optimization. The goal of the project is to expand the knowledge of developers who already have experience in this field, as well as help those who have experience in C ++ / Python development and basic knowledge in the field of machine and deep learning to become better acquainted with the indicated topics.
CV Academy webinars resume from February 10, 2021. 12 webinars are planned to be held during February, March and April. Topics: basic methods of automatic speech recognition, speech synthesis based on neural networks, an overview of techniques and models of natural language processing, the use of computer vision in medicine, federated machine learning, compilers for neural networks, etc. d.
To participate in webinars, registration is required on the CV Academy page on Timepad. Registration is carried out separately for each event – you can choose the most interesting topics for yourself. Webinars will be held weekly on Wednesdays, from 19:00 to 20:00. Intel in Russia is now actively recruiting experienced developers in areas related to artificial intelligence, and one of the key tasks of CV Academy is to create a talent pool of specialists in this area. The immediate predecessor of CV Academy was a project for CV School students, in which more than 400 listeners took part. And 30 project participants ended up getting an internship at the company.
The first season of CV Academy took place in November-December 2021. Topics included the study of the OpenVINO Toolkit, an overview of methods for tracking objects on video, sound processing techniques in OpenCV, 3D reconstruction algorithms in OpenCV in real time, data preparation for training neural networks, and so on.
